50 Cent Busted his nut with that How to Rob cut back in 2000. He was hungry and raw and instead of trying to schmooze his way into the industry, making friends and doing cameos, he basically called out, clowned and started beef with every popular MC in the game at the time. The whole concept was fairly original, the rhymes were creative and the cut was a fresh approach to the battle rap and essentially a grand announcement that there was a new MC ready to take his shot at the top spot. — Malik -- NY

50 Cent busted his nut on Get Rich or Die Tryin', which is one of the most absurdly violent, misogynistic, bullet-ridden gangsta-fests ever put to record, but I can't stop listening! — Chris -- L.A.

I agree with Chris from L.A. 50 is such a HYPROCRITE? He busted his nut, on "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'", I call him a hypocrite b/c everything he said Ja Rule was doing, he turned around and did. The only difference is his production was crazy. Thank DRE for that. — Young GS3 -- L.A.

Why doesn't 50 just change his name to Notorious Cube Shakur because all he's doing on Get Rich or Die Tryin' is spitting the same old gangsta murder hustler rhymes that have been played out for at least a decade. But I suppose as long as there are youngsters who don't know their HipHop history, they'll continue to think 50 invited the format. — Malik -- L.A.

Candy Shop was perhaps the gayest song since, um, well, ever! Making it even more gay was the fact that 50 was trying to come off as a tough guy while singing "lick the lollipop." — Chris -- L.A.

He began to fall when Game called his bluff. He went so hard at Ja Rule, he basically ended his career. But with GAME the situation was different. 50 didn't realize when he helped Game, that he was promoting a West Coast artist, on the west coast, where Interscope is located. During a time when the west coast was making very little noise in Hip Hop. And being an MC who made his name from starting beef to get "lyrically destroyed by GAME," is definetly an MC who fell off. — Young GS3 -- L.A.
