Das busted their nut on Dead Serious. They completely raised the bar for multiple MC rhyming. They went so far beyond the standard "I say my verse, hook, then you say your verse" style that most MC duos use that they carved out a niche for themselves that nearly 20 years later, no other groups have been able to really replicate to the same degree. The complexity of the lyrics, flow and the MC interplay were amazing. Dre -- Las Vegas

JDas fell off on Hold It Down when they switched their style from that skibbidy ribbidy dibbidy to a slower, harder much more run-of-the-mill style. This seemed to be an effort to counter the many groups who began to bite their "straight from the sewer, underground" steelo. It didn't work and basically made them sound similar to every other Timberland wearin' MC out of the NYC. Dre -- Las Vegas
